SPEEDY TRADINGGmbH

Privacy Policy

We keep data collection to the minimum this website needs. The German version of this policy is authoritative.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Overview and controller

This privacy policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website or contact us, for which purposes this happens, and which rights you have. We do not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services, and this website has no database of its own and no server-side form submission.

The controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is: Speedy Trading GmbH, Neefestraße 40, 09119 Chemnitz, Germany. Managing director: to be completed by the owner. Registration court: Amtsgericht Chemnitz, registration number: to be completed by the owner. VAT identification number: to be completed by the owner.

Phone: +49 151 5263706, email: contact@speedy-trading.com

2. Hosting with Vercel

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA ("Vercel"). When you visit the site, Vercel automatically processes technically necessary server logs, in particular your device IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, browser type, operating system and referrer URL.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and efficient delivery of this website. We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Vercel. Where data is transferred to the USA, the transfer is based on the EU Commission standard contractual clauses; Vercel is also certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

3. Domain, DNS and email with IONOS

Our domain, DNS and email mailboxes are operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Strasse 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS processes connection and log data (such as IP addresses and email metadata) to the extent technically required. Processing takes place in Germany or the EU.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the reliable availability of our website and email communication). A data processing agreement is in place with IONOS.

4. Enquiries: no form submission through this website

The enquiry and sell-your-car forms on this website do not send any data to our servers and store nothing on this website. Your entries are assembled into a message locally in your browser only. On submit, your own WhatsApp or email app simply opens with that prepared message; your details are only transmitted to us via the service you chose once you send the message there yourself.

When you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process the data you transmit (such as your name, contact details, the vehicle concerned and the content of your message) solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract (pre-contractual steps), and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

We retain your correspondence until your enquiry has been fully handled. If a contract follows, we retain the related correspondence within the statutory retention periods (in particular under German commercial and tax law). We do not pass your data to third parties beyond the processors named in this policy.

5. WhatsApp Business

You can contact us via WhatsApp. The WhatsApp links on this website only open the service when you actively click them; until then, no data is transferred to WhatsApp.

The provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. If you use WhatsApp, Meta processes in particular your phone number, message content and metadata (such as the time of communication) under its own policies; data may be transferred to servers in the USA, safeguarded by the standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in fast, direct communication); use is based on your own active decision. More information: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea

6. Google Maps (only with your consent)

The contact section of this website embeds a map from Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The map is only loaded after you have given consent via our cookie notice or directly at the map. Only then does your browser connect to Google servers and transmit, among other things, your IP address. Data may be transferred to the USA; this is safeguarded by the EU Commission standard contractual clauses and the certification of Google LLC under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Sect. 25(1) of the German TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the Cookie settings link in the footer; the map will then no longer be loaded. More information: https://policies.google.com/privacy

7. Google Meet for video appointments

For video calls arranged with you (for example a video walkaround of a vehicle), we use Google Meet, a service of Google Ireland Limited. Google processes the data you provide when joining (such as your name and email address) as well as connection and meeting metadata; audio and video are transmitted. This website itself does not load any Google Meet components; the service is only used for expressly arranged appointments.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps or performance of a contract), and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Transfers to the USA are safeguarded by the standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Vehicle data and photos from mobile.de

The vehicle data and photos shown on this website come from our stock on the mobile.de marketplace (mobile.de GmbH, part of the Adevinta group). Vehicle photos are loaded directly from the image server img.classistatic.de, the content delivery network of mobile.de. When you open a page with vehicle photos, your browser therefore transmits your IP address to that server so the images can be delivered. We do not set any cookies in the process.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the up-to-date and faithful presentation of our vehicle stock.

9. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use any tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. Only technically necessary storage technologies are used (Sect. 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR):

Cookie "NEXT_LOCALE": stores your language choice (English, German or French) so the site is shown in that language.

Local storage entry "speedy-cookie-consent": stores your decision in the cookie notice so we do not have to ask again on every visit.

Local storage entry "speedy-theme": stores your choice between the light and dark design.

The cookie notice relates solely to loading external content; at present this is only the Google Maps embed in the contact section (see above). Without your consent, no external content requiring consent is loaded. You can change your decision at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer.

10. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix and the lock symbol in your browser address bar. With encryption enabled, data you retrieve through the website cannot be read by third parties.

11. Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this privacy policy, personal data remains with us until the purpose of the processing no longer applies. If you make a justified deletion request or withdraw consent, your data is deleted unless statutory retention obligations (such as commercial or tax law periods) prevent this; in that case, deletion takes place once the relevant period expires.

12. Your rights

Within the statutory framework you have the right at any time to information about your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Right to object: where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

Withdrawal: you may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). The lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.

To exercise your rights, an informal message to contact@speedy-trading.com is sufficient.

Right to lodge a complaint: you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner (Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte), Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden, Germany, https://www.datenschutz.sachsen.de

13. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
